FRAGMENTS
Mahnaz Doustikhah in this series, above all manipulates resin, in all its forms. This chemical material, with its petroleum appearance; reminiscence of these memories from childhood, but also of uncontrolled excesses, linked to human factors. Each piece created starts from the notion of the infinitely large and moves towards the infinitely small. The cellular aspect of his work is an ode to life. Even frozen in resin. it must continue to exist, to vibrate, because it diverts the material and plays with it to reveal all its poetry. It thus allows us to see bursts of sensations, feelings and existence.
